Children are best protected when professionals work together, not in silos.
The Multidisciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT) at The Children’s House brings together trained professionals with expertise in child maltreatment who collaborate throughout a child abuse investigation. This coordinated approach helps investigations move forward more effectively, strengthens case outcomes, and improves support for victims and non-offending caregivers.
Most importantly, collaboration reduces the number of times a child must retell their experience and helps limit additional trauma during an already difficult process.
