Supporting children and families on the path to healing.
At The Children’s House, we provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to children, youth, and caregivers impacted by trauma. All services are offered at no cost to eligible families.
Our therapists are trained to help children feel safe, understood, and supported, while also equipping caregivers with tools to help their child heal.
Our Approach
We use proven, trauma-informed therapies designed specifically for children and adolescents who have experienced abuse, neglect, or violence. Services are developmentally appropriate, family-centered, and focused on long-term wellbeing.
Therapy Services We Offer
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
A structured, evidence-based therapy for children and teens ages 3–18 that helps reduce trauma-related symptoms, build coping skills, and strengthen caregiver-child relationships.
TF-CBT for Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB-TF-CBT)
A specialized therapeutic approach for children ages 3–14 that supports healthy boundaries, accountability, and healing in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI)
An early intervention model for youth ages 7–18 who have recently experienced trauma, designed to strengthen caregiver-child communication and reduce the risk of long-term trauma symptoms.
Accessing Care
Therapy services are available at The Children’s House and in select schools and community locations. Telehealth options may be available for qualifying families to ensure continued access to care.
